Class Descriptions:
Acts Bible Study -- For the 2025–26 ministry year, all Bible study groups will journey through the Acts of the Apostles—studying the first half of the book in the fall (12 weeks) and the second half (12 weeks) in the winter/spring. This is a co-ed Bible Study group that will meet on Wednesday nights, 6:45-8 pm during Connections.
Evening Prayer and Sermon Discussion -- Each week, this group will gather for a time of Evening Prayer and discussion surrounding the previous Sunday's scripture readings and sermon. This group will be facilitated by members of our staff and clergy.
Discovering Redeemer and Things Anglican -- This class is for learning more about Church of the Redeemer and what it means to be an Anglican, as well as connecting with others and forming community. It's the first step towards membership, and a great way to become more immersed in this community of believers.
Catechumenate I: To Be a Christian -- In the ancient church, everyone coming into the life of the Church went through a period of instruction called the catechumenate, where they would learn the basics of the faith. We have embraced this ancient model because we see the wisdom in it. To Be a Christian is the first part of our 2-part adult catechesis, and it outlines the basics of Christian belief and Anglican theology. Completing both parts of catechumenate opens the door for joining Redeemer as a member and participating in the full life of the church through confirmation.
